Susan essay

Susan will never forget what happened that day. She was walking through the park when she noticed a small, old key lying on the ground, half-buried in the dirt. Curiosity got the better of her, and she picked it up, its cold metal sending a strange shiver through her fingers. She glanced around but saw no one, the park seemingly empty. As she turned to leave, she noticed a weathered door tucked away between the trees, something she had never seen before. Without thinking, she approached, the key fitting perfectly into the lock. The door creaked open, revealing a dark, hollow space. Before she could step inside, a voice called her name from behind—her mother’s voice, soft yet urgent. When Susan turned, the park was empty again. The door had vanished, leaving only the key in her hand.
